Tenor Ukulele

The tenor ukulele is just a little bigger than the concert ukulele. The tenor ukulele is usually around 26 inches long, and has only 17-19 scale length depending on model. Tenor ukuleles are commonly tuned in standard re-entrant G-C-E-A, but some will choose to tune it lower like a baritone ukulele to D-G-B-E.

Tenor ukuleles are becoming more and more popular as people get used to the less-traditional sound. The Tenor is also popular for performances, because of the tonal qualities and the capabilities to reach higher notes on the fret board. However it is used more often in acoustic sessions and recording. Their larger scale makes them an easier adaptation for guitar players, and their large bodies produce warmer, more complex tones that are desirable for any genre of music.

Manhood Enlargement

Back in those days, guys didn’t have much choice over penis extenders in the market.  What you could only get was one fixed design which will lead to higher chance of slippages or the design didn’t match the shape of your penis.

But with technology improvement over time, many top penis extender manufacturers have modified and adapted their designs to offer their users a better and higher quality product.

The following are some of the design improvements over the years:

1.         Silicon Noose vs. Comfort Strap – in addition to giving users a silicon noose, penis extenders, SizeGenetics, also provide users with a comfort strap which reduces slippages and spreads the traction of the device over a larger surface area.

2.         Comfort Technology– to account for the diversity of sizes, shapes, angles and the actual sensitivity of your penis, penis extenders now also offer such things as a protection pad (to increase comfort where you use the noose or strap), fabric covered latex head grip (reduces rubbing and chaffing against the skin) and non-slip pro-tech matt strap (to reduce slippage). Through these various combinations some penis extenders can offer users up to 16 different ways to wear their device.

3.         MDA Technology (Multi Directional Angling) – SizeGenetics is one of many penis extenders that now incorporate Multi-Directional Angling into their design. By using this, users can comfortably wear their device no matter the degree of curvature in your penis.

No matter what size, shape, angle or sensitivity of your penis, it is now possible to use penis extenders to apply traction to your penis, trigger cell replication and growth, and increase the size of your penis by inches. Please make sure the extender which you are going to purchase can offer you more than 4 ways to wear, product quality, user reviews and it is safe to use.

Porsche 550 Spyder

Porsche_550_SpyderThe Porsche 550 was a racing sports car produced by Porsche from 1953-1956. This was the first true competition car from Porsche. It was lightweight, it had two seats, aluminum body, tubular frame and an open top. They were racing only with Volkswagen. The initial pair of 550 dominated their class at Le Mans finishing one-two in the 1500cc division. Then, one of the two cars won its category in the famed Pan Americana Mexican  road race.

Subsequent 550`s carried on what the initial 550`s had started. They were fitted with the four-cam Carrera flat four cylinders. They soon became dominant cars world wide.  During races, it was fast and easily maneuvered so no other car stand a chance. But people loved it purchasing every one of these quick little cars they could find.

In 1956, Porsche started to produce the 550A, a slightly modified Spyder, which was an evolution of the RS with a birdcage like space frame chassis and modified lighter body shape. By the time the 550A ceased championship racing after the 1958 season, it had not just established the 550 as a legend, but it had also begun to mould the future of the Porsche model. It was a hit, shocking the entire world by winning in its first Appearance in Targa Florio, a brutal road race. It also humbled well-known and more powerful rivals such as Ferrari, Maseratti and Jaguar. In the next five years it won almost all the races in which it competed. It became a car that attracted more attention for its occasional losses than for the nearly non-stop victories.

Concert Ukulele

guitar effects and accessoriesThe concert ukulele, sometimes referred to as the alto, is only a couple of inches bigger than the soprano.  The concert ukulele is usually around 23 inches long, and has only 15-17 scale length depending on model.

The frets are a bit more spaced on a concert ukulele.  This gives the concert an extended playing range over the soprano ukulele, making it a preferable choice for ukulele soloists. There can be up to 20 frets on a concert ukulele which allows players to navigate to higher notes on the fret board.

The strings are standard-tuned to the re-entrant tuning of G-C-E-A(from left to right). Like the name suggests, these are the most popular for live performance, as their comfortable size and good projection work well in amplified or acoustic settings. The Concert ukulele was designed to be a slightly larger ukulele with a louder, deeper and more melodic tone, more fitting for concert playing.

Soprano Ukulele

The most common and standard type of ukulele is the soprano ukulele. The soprano ukulele is usually around 21 inches long, and has only 13-15 scale length depending on model. Scale length refers to the distance of the ringing string – from the nut to the saddle. The strings are standard-tuned to the re-entrant tuning of G-C-E-A(from left to right). Sopranos are smallest, and generally work well for small hands and new students. With it being the smallest, there’s less stretching for notes, which suits a beginner. The small soprano can also be harder to play for people with larger hands, who may struggle to navigate around such a condensed fretboard.

The soprano has the recognizable plinky sound that everyone associates with the instrument. Their small scale and compact body are also perfect for travelling.  Generally, beginners will start out on a soprano ukulele because you can usually find a decently playable one for a low cost.

Other Paintball Accessories

Having the markers, tanks, guns, vests and other equipment complete the excitement when you plan to play paintball.  But little do others know that it is the small and simple things that count even before the game begins.  Sometimes the little accessories that are locked in a toolbox are all that are needed to complete a paintball game.  A toolbox is the first aid kit of the game; if anything goes wrong that is unexpected or unavoidable, there is no reason to fret.

The gun’s manual – There are instances in the game when the gun has to undergo “intensive surgery”. Guns differ from each other regardless of the physical similarities of some.  If that time comes when it needs to be disassembled, the manual can make it easier to put it all back together.  Try to find manuals with problem solving ideas, they really help.

Reserve batteries – Some guns require batteries to function.  It would be such a waste of time if in the middle of the game the batteries died and you could not continue to play so keep new batteries available.

Allen wrench to the rescue – some players have either inherited their guns from their friends or bought second-hand guns.  If you did not get a set of Allen wrenches when you bought the gun buy a set from a hardware store and be sure to keep them handy.

Lubricant – Make sure that there is a small can of oil for the paintball gun inside the box as well.  Sometimes weather dictates if the gun needs oiling; be sure to get the specific oil type recommended by the manual for the gun.

Mask lens as spare – Mask lens will either become blurry or scratched during the game.  Don’t hesitate to replace them if your vision is impaired as this really affects how the game is played.

Paintball Squeegee – The folding one fits perfect in your paintball pants to quickly clean your barrel and gun when it is dirty on the field at any moment.

Cup seals and reserved O-rings:  Come players do not know that O-rings and cup seals can be damaged easily and this will hurt the paintball gun big time so it is a must to replace the cup seal before this happens.

And for the player, always have a neck guard around to save the neck from those disturbing shots that hit your neck. There may be a team available to do first aid when something goes wrong but it would make sense to carry a personal first aid kit. Carry around extra basic safety “gadgets” like a mask, gloves, and pads and have a worry free paintball game.

Online Shopping During the Holidays

DJI Tenth Anniversary Promotion
Shopping online during the holidays has become one of the most popular options for shoppers. Two of the most common benefits shopping online during holiday season includes the ability to do last minute shopping online and the convenience of avoiding overcrowded stores during the holiday season. This article will discuss these two advantages in greater detail and will also provide information on some of the other advantages to online shopping which are also important to holiday shoppers.

Last Minute Shopping for Holiday Gifts

Although there are some shoppers who are well prepared and do their holiday shopping in advance, many shoppers find themselves scrambling to purchase gifts at the last minute. These last minute shoppers far outnumber the well organized individuals who complete their holiday shopping months in advance. This category also includes not only chronic procrastinators who put off holiday shopping until the last minute but also includes well intentioned shoppers who were caught by surprise with a need to purchase gifts for a few extra people at the last minute. Fortunately for these last minute shoppers, online shopping take a great deal of the stress out of last minute shopping.

One of the greatest benefits of last minute shopping is the ability to ship gifts to friends and relatives. Internet shopping is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The available shipping options may even make it possible for shoppers to have these gifts arrive within 24 hours after making the purchase. Shoppers may pay a premium for these express shipping services but it can be a worthwhile investment for last minute shoppers who would otherwise be caught empty handed.norton3002501

Avoiding Holiday Crowds by Shopping Online

The crowds at traditional stores can unbelievable during the holiday season. Finding a parking space often becomes a stressful situation and simply navigating stores can be chaotic. While some shoppers thrive in this type of environment most shoppers find this to be stressful. Furthermore some shoppers may enjoy this type of environment for brief periods of time but may have difficulty completing their holiday shopping with so much chaos surrounding them. Fortunately, online shopping provides a welcomed escape to much of the shopping chaos of traditional stores.

Online shoppers can shop when it is most convenient for them and typically the most troubling crowd related problems they experience is slow loading of websites which are overloaded by website visitors. Waiting for a few extra moments for a website to reload may be somewhat frustrating but it is significantly less stressful than standing in line at a crowded store for long periods of time.

Added Benefits to Shopping Online During the Holidays

There are also other benefits to shopping online during the holidays which do not necessarily pertain to the holiday season but certainly simplify the process of shopping online for holiday gifts. One of these benefits is the ability to comparison shop with ease. When shopping online comparison shopping is as easy as opening two different websites from competitors and comparing the products they have available and the prices they are charging for these products. This is much simpler than running around from one store to another to find out which stores have a particular item available and how much each store is currently charging for this item.

Another benefit to shopping online is the ability to purchase items from stores located far away. Holiday shoppers who limit themselves to traditional stores are also limiting the products which are available to them. These traditional shoppers can only purchase items which they physically find in a store while online shoppers can search stores around the world for a particular item. This can be particular useful for shoppers who are looking for a specific item which is hard to locate.

Porsche – A Brief History

Ferdinand Porsche, an automotive engineer and founder of the Porsche car company. He played an important role in the development of airplanes and racing cars, and the construction of tanks for the Wehrmacht. He was appointed chief engineer at Mercedes-Benz in Stuttgart in the 1920s. Later on, he set up his own engineering workshop and designed among others the Volkswagen. At the plant where Volkswagen was made, Wolfsburg, he was chief of operations and at the end of the war he was interned by the Allies.
Ferdinand Porsche was released a few years later and started building his first car  with his son, Ferry Porsche. The car was named the Porsche 356 and it was a sports car and a  reminiscent of the Volkswagen. It had the same four-cylinder boxer engine that was rear-mounted, just like the VW. It was far from being a powerful sports car, developing only 40 bhp and a maximum speed of 87 mph (140 km/h). First produced as a convertible and later as a hard top it distinguished by the very elegant and innovative body. It was developed in the workshop of Erwin Komenda, a master of restrained streamlining who had been in charge of sheet metal and design techniques at Porsche since the VW Beetle.  The new style of closed coupe was designed by Komenda and it soon became the embodiment of the sports car, thanks to its fastback. This tradition was continued by Komenda and Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, nicknamed “Butzi”, the founder’s grandson, with the 911.

The 911 became easily recognizable: it had attractive sloping bonnet and what later  became characteristic frog eye headlights, curves running from the top edge of the  windscreen to the rear bumper and a straight waistline. From a functional and technical point of view it was more like BMW 1500, although it retained the stylistic features of the original Porsche. The new 911 will become the foundation stone of Porsche’s identity, even though the design was not always appreciated. During the 1970`s and 1980`s, the designers attempts to distance Porsche from its legendary design brought the company to the edge of disaster.

In the 1990`s, the company realized that what for over twenty years was perceived  as a straitjacket, it was in fact a market advantage. During the 1990`s, Porsche became highly profitable since they now knew that the typical Porsche features were timeless. Nearly forty people now worked in the design department on further developments of the long-running 911. These developments included the 911 GTI, a powerful combination of sports and racing car, put forward by the in-house designer Anthony R. Hatter. In 1999, chief designer proudly presented the new Boxster which enabled Porsche to establish a second independent range of models.

Best Paintball Mask

Paintball masks are the most important safety equipment for paintball players. They act as paintball1protection for the eyes from the harmful chemicals that are contained in paintballs. Most completely cover the face and the ears, but there are those who prefer to wear goggles, protecting only the eyes. Paintball masks are designed to absorb any direct shot, from any distance or range. An ordinary pair of goggles will supply only a false sense of security and put one at great risk since it they are not constructed to block a paintball.

The choice of the mask’s material is of significance.  There are masks made of different material from rubber, plastic to foam. It is a wise idea to buy your own face mask rather than renting one. It should be the first equipment purchased before playing paintball.  Be sure to properly test the fit of the mask to your face and make sure that you can see clearly so you can well and enjoy your game.

Paintball masks will have either non-thermal or thermal lens or be anti-fog for fog resistance: these do not need an anti for agent applied to the lens to perform their function.  These thermal lenses will cost more but they are a good choice because they just won’t fog up.

The foam in a paint ball mask is an important factor to consider, as it can determine your level of comfort. There are masks that are more expensive even when the foam and lens are the same quality as cheaper models, but the difference is in the style and color of the mask.

Paintball masks can be bought in many sports shops that carry paintball supplies. These supplies are available in different price ranges and some brands are less expensive than others. Those most recommended paintball mask brands are VForce, DYE, Empire, Sly Profit, Proto and JT.

Tips for Choosing A Paintball Mask

Most buyers who are buying their first paintball mask are bound to get confused with the wide variety of choice available to them. The paintball masks come in all shapes and sizes. The priorities which you must focus on while buying a paintball mask are its materials used, manufacturers reputation, quality, protection capability, comfort and weigh (light).

It is advised that before buying a mask, the buyer should try it out to see if the fit is comfortable. Try out the various masks available in the store to choose the one which fits best. After all, comfort comes only secondary to protection with respect to all sports gears and paintball masks are no exception.

Before paying the paintball mask, make sure

Design of the mask – For example, an exoskeleton type mask, a full head cover mask, a visor-style mask etc. These full head masks are effectively helmets that are designed to absorb the impact of any hit to the head.

Whether it is easy to change lenses – Most good quality masks have lenses which can be switched easily but it is still better to confirm it. First, you might want to consider buying a spare lense for your mask.  Switching to your spare lense lets you get ready for the next game much faster.

Whether the mask is suitable to the face shape – Most masks are a one-size-fits-all make. However, there are masks which may be unsuitable for certain face shapes. For example, people with high foreheads will generally face a problem if they choose a mask whose lens is so small that it leaves their forehead exposed.

Fog resistance – Paintball masks will have either non-thermal or thermal lens or be anti-fog for fog resistance: these do not need an anti for agent applied to the lens to perform their function.  These thermal lenses will cost more but they are a good choice because they just won’t fog up.

Fitting – The foam in a Paintball Mask is an important factor to consider as it can determine your level of comfort. For instance, a “Vforce Armor” is a neoprene type of foam which is considered a good foam but is uncomfortable. The “Vforce Shield” and “Vforce Profiler” is an open cell, two layer foam which is very comfortable to wear. The open cell foam can be compared to a memory foam that is used in pillows.

You should consider the quality, comfort and safety of these masks and make the right decision regardless of the price.
